HOUSE RULES
1 vs 1 · winner takes the pot · pure skill, no luck
1CREDITS
- Every new player starts with 1,000 free credits.
- Down to less than 50? Press + FREE CREDITS and you are topped back up to 1,000.
- Credits are guest credits for now: no money goes in and none comes out. Wallet play arrives with the coin launch, and these rules will be updated before any real stakes are played.
- Your credits belong to this browser. Clearing your browser data or switching device starts you over.
2TABLES & THE POT
| TABLE | STAKE | POT | WINNER GETS | BURNED |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ROOKIE | 50 | 100 | 95 | 5 |
| PRO | 250 | 500 | 475 | 25 |
| HIGH ROLLER | 1,000 | 2,000 | 1,900 | 100 |
- When the match starts, both players' stakes go into the pot.
- The winner takes 95% of the pot. The other 5% is bought back and burned. The BURNED counter at the top shows the total so far.
- A draw gives both players their stake back, and nothing is burned.
- You need at least the table's stake in credits to sit down.
3WHO YOU PLAY
- VS REAL PLAYER: you play the next player waiting at the same game and table.
- VS CPU: you play the house's computer player at the same tables and payouts, with no waiting. The CPU is always labeled CPU and you only meet it if you choose it. The house never pretends to be a human player.
- You can never be matched against yourself.
4LEAVING A MATCH
- Leaving a match after it starts counts as a forfeit: your rival wins the pot. That includes pressing ◀ ARCADE twice, closing the tab and losing your connection.
- During a match, ◀ ARCADE asks you to press it a second time before you forfeit.
- Leaving the waiting line before a match starts costs nothing.
5FREE PLAY
- PRACTICE VS CPU is always free. No credits change hands.
- STAR ACES and FLAPPY BIRD · 1 PLAYER are free solo games. Your best score is kept.
6FAIR PLAY
- Every credit match runs on the game server. Your browser only sends your button presses, and the server's result is final.
- No bots, scripts or macros, no exploiting bugs, no extra accounts to collect free credits, and no throwing matches to pass credits to a friend.
- Anyone breaking these rules can lose their credits or be banned from the arcade.
- Found a bug? Report it on X at @arcaderoomfun. Don't play it for credits.
7THE GAMES
PAC-MAN · 1 VS 1
- Two players, one maze, four glitches.
- Dot +10 · power pellet +50 (glitches turn blue) · blue glitch +200, 400, 800, 1,600.
- Powered up? Eat your rival to steal 300. Caught by a glitch: −300.
- The match lasts 2 minutes or until the dots run out. Highest score wins and equal scores are a draw.
NEON FIST · 1 VS 1
- Best of 3 rounds, 60 seconds each. Knock your rival out to win the round.
- If a round runs out of time, the fighter with more health left wins it.
- If the match clock runs out, the player who won more rounds wins. Equal rounds are a draw.
TETRIS · 1 VS 1
- Both players get the same pieces. Clear lines to attack.
- 2 lines send 1 garbage row · 3 lines send 2 · a Tetris (4 lines) sends 4. Combos and back-to-back Tetrises send extra.
- Clearing lines cancels garbage on its way to you (the red bar).
- Top out and you lose. After 3 minutes, whoever sent the most garbage wins.
FLAPPY BIRD · 1 VS 1 OR 1 PLAYER
- Both players fly the same pipes, which get faster and tighter as you go. The first to crash loses.
- After 2 minutes, whoever passed more pipes wins. Equal is a draw.
- 1 PLAYER has no clock: fly as far as you can. It is free and your best score is kept.
STAR ACES · 1 PLAYER · FREE
- Clear each alien wave to bring on the next. A mothership comes every 5th wave.
- 3 lives, plus an extra life every 25,000 points. Getting hit costs a life, one gun level and your drones.
- Play for the high score. No credits are at stake.
